Compassionate, intentional, and Detroit-born, Bre’Ann White is
a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and creative producer
whose work is rooted in memory, identity, justice, and representation. Over 16 years, she has built a practice that moves fluidly between fine art, film, photography, cultural programming, and community-centered storytelling — creating work that challenges perception and expands conversations around race, history, and belonging. Her lens is shaped by Detroit’s people, culture, and creative resilience, transforming lived experience into visual narratives that preserve history, strengthen community, and shift culture.
